As time goes by, the actual building is
growing to match the concept.
September 2000
work is well underway by this date.
Here the back of the old library
is visible as the foundation work is begun on the new Home Public
Library.

new library is not yet visible to the left. The new foundation
(above) is barely showing.

January 2001
The new Homer Public Library appears!
Now, the new Homer Public Library
clearly stands out on this stark winter day. The building is
beginning to clearly resemble the artist's conception at the
top of this page.
