The Homer Area Community Foundation (HACF) was founded as an affiliate of the Battle Creek Community Foundation in 1994. The Community Foundation was created to serve as a catalyst to develop and administer permanent resources to address the needs of the Homer Area. Since its humble beginnings, the Community Foundation has grown to a current value of over one million dollars. The Community Foundation continues to be funded through the generousity of caring donors who recognize the great variety of important needs in our community can only be addressed by combining the resource of many individuals and organizations.
