Toothpick/and Yarn Prints

The fourth grade has been busy creating plates to print using toothpicks and/or yarn. The process has taken quite a bit of time, patience and hard work on the part of the fourth graders. The project started with the students first drawing a design on their tagboard. Then the hard work began! They concentrated on doing the contour, or outline, of their design using either toothpicks or yarn. Some students used both which created an interesting texture in their resulting print.

This is a plate for a mustang print. Artist: Aaron, 4th grade

Next you will see the print that was made from this plate. You might guess already what color the print will be.
